(As a UF English major, I have been cringing at the incorrect use of that reflexive pronoun twice in posts I have read this morning, so thanks, dad, for pointing it out.)

Speaking only for myself, I am not blaming Zach for what is now known to be an erroneous report on Bower. I DO take issue with his source who evidently relayed that Bower's LOI arrived at 7:27. Uneducated readers like myself tend to accept statements written in that manner as fact.

I've got $5 that says someone misspoke when they saw Trenton Brown's LOI

Perhaps someone was hoping for Bower, saw the initials and the length of the name and assumed Bower without really looking at it.

Not blaming anyone, but I'm curious about the LOI mix-up. My wife's high school accidentally faxed an LOI early a couple years ago. Made the announcement a non-event. Some people were perturbed for sure.
