James Clark: Late Tuesday night UPDATE
I was just told Florida does not feel it will land the New Smyrna Beach receiver, and there are some late reports coming in that he's now expected to pick Ohio State.
Not sure what changed as most had him UF bound earlier today and some sources I spoke with over the weekend thought he would be a Gator. But that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.
I gotta give props to Robbie for calling this.

I hope he enjoys blizzards.
And blocking.
And carrying Maalox for his coach.

I've heard some criticism of Muschamp's "slow play" of Clark, but I dont think it's justified in this case. Our WR class is more than sufficient and has several stars, as well as depth. One more would've been nice, but I think our staff nailed it this time around. Best of luck to Clark if he chooses to be a buck.

I'd prefer he was a gator... but wish him good luck regardless if he doesn't sign with us.

Agreed except for the best of luck part. I've never liked the crackumbus types.

Would've loved to have him but we'll be okay. He's a great kid and wish him well. He should thrive in Meyer's offense so can't knock his choice. Regardless how football turns out for him he has a bright future.

Shame; would have loved to have had him.
Kind of crazy that at a time when virtually everybody with any sense and the ability is fleeing the Northeast and Midwest, we still have some guys get conned into going up there and giving it a try.
Maybe there IS something to inferior football, terrible weather, and pasty women after all. Whodathunkit?

My guess is the "slow play" too. During the process, I always thought we treated him like a fall back option. I thought I could hear the hurt feelings in his tone when he said that he would consider making Florida his third school.
Good luck to him, but we got a really nice group with Fulwood, Robinson, and Bailey. We could always use more weapons, but there's a lot of caliber in this class already.

I don't agree with the "slow play" so much. All 3 of his finalist slow played him to some extent. Urban is a great recruiter. Not saying he's legit, but he produces. The only thing bad I've heard about Columbus is the weather. I wouldn't want to move there for that one reason, but if he doesn't mind, then good for him. He seems like a good kid and it's too bad if he doesn't come here. Wish him luck.

Gee, this stinks! At least we didn't lose on of our bigs guns, though. Best wishes to Clark.
Spivey claims that there's a surprise set to occur, today. I wonder if it has anything to do with this. I don't know of any WR's that could be coming in, that would make Clark change to OSU.

I like Clark, we need players like him. Good academics and I believe he will stay out of trouble. With that said I worked for a Engineering firm in Columbus.
Good Luck Clark Columbus = Craphole
Go Gators!

Urban still plays dirty.
Cody Jones @CJonesScout
Clark said Urban Meyer told him not to come to Ohio State unless he's ready to make "a grown man move."

Urbs likes the moves that Clark has. He's speedy and can change direction on the fly. So when Urban hears the words Saban, Bama, Tide (even if he is at the beach), ect, then Clark can rush in with the Maalox and be the savior of pOSU
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete Drawn only to be washed away

Would've been great to have him as a Gator but seriously we've pulled one of the best WR classes we had in a while before him.
Look up Fulwood, Robinson and Bailey's highlight tapes and that will definetly make you feel better.
Honestly I would rather have Fulwood or Robinson over Clark.
