Way too early 2014 recruiting needs
Looking ahead to 2014, what are our biggest position needs:
Qb: 1
mornhinweg and staver are 3 star projects...big time gunslinger is needed
Rb: 0/1
Jones, Taylor, and lane are big time. We probably only go after one if its a big time prospect
FB: 1
Burton will be gone and joyer will be All that remains. A fullback is a must next year
Wr: 3/4
We had a big haul of playmakers in 2013 but 2011 and 2012 were lacking big time. We probably look to sign 3/4 next year
TE: 2
Taylor and Thompson will be our only viable options at te...depth and replacements for those two are needed
OL: 4
We helped our immediate depth in 2013 but brown, Garcia, and Moore have all already burned some eligibility. The game is won in the trenches and we will need to reload
DE: 2
we signed 5 in 2012 but sherit is our only de in 2013. A few more will be necessary
DT: 3
We found numbers in 2013 but were lacking previous years
LB: 2
6 lb's were signed the past two years. Can always use a few more though
CB: 3
Along with o line possibly our biggest need. If purifoy and Roberson have big years and jump early to the nfl we will only have 2 left in vh3 and Poole
S: 0/1
Unless a top prospect falls to us I don't see us pursuing too agressively

C'mon Leroy, give 'Fan' a break. Grier hasn't signed and it's one year away until he does; so a lot can change between now and then. It is still a position of need, no matter who has verbally committed. We also have one of the top WRs (Ryshene Bronson) and a couple of other '14' prospects verbally committed, but you didn't mention them.
Nice right up 'Fan'. I appreciated the the detailed breakdown.

Re: Way too early 2014 recruiting needs
This was funny how he put the FB. Joyer is all that remains. He's the best FB on the team..... Could have just put that he needs someone to replace his backup.
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete Drawn only to be washed away

the individuals being recuited for 2014 will be freshman joyers senior year.
It wasn't meant as a knock to joyer, but just to show that we need depth

Qb-2
OL-3 or 4
RB-1 or 0
TE-2
WR-2 or 3
DT-2
DE-3
LB/Buck-2
CB-3
S-2
FB-2 Swanson signs in 2014
I think UF will sign around 23 in 2014
Very curious to see B. Cox in the spring. Curious about the status of the 2 RFR Tight Ends as well.
Read on Bleacher Report that Bostwick has enough quicks to play DE if needed.
I sent Coach Boom my list and he texted me this is 'the' plan. No word yet if the Gator Head logo will make it onto the jersey sleeves in 2013 but will for sure in 2014. Nike logo remains on front of jersey.

"Cox to TE?" That just doesn't sound right.

maybe Cox can stretch the field, get deep for a score, bring some fireworks to the O.

Joyer is the only FB on the team. Trey lining up at FB is a dead giveaway that we are passing.
