Did any of our committed players visit elsewhere this past weekend?

Nope, and few schools can say that.

Brantley is still listed as a soft verbal on Rivals.
Any concerns with him?

Zach - just curious... the pay sites seem to be a step ahead of Gatorsports recruiting news. You do a stellar job, but just wondering if there is any "gentleman's agreement" that the pay sites get to post the "breaking news" before the free sites?
Again, not trying to knock the job you do. You've worked harder than any of your predecessors. Hope you can stay awhile!

You said that, not me.
I guess you've never seen a 'soft verbal' committed to us end up elsewhere at the last minute.
For that matter, look up 'Marcus Stroud' sometime.

Just in case there is some question, I'm glad Caleb Brantley has sent in his LOI.

Dude, to hell with you. I work my butt off calling kids, coaches and parents. And I have my own sources just like everyone else. I don't go to other sites for anything other than rankings. I only have two subscriptions to Rivals and ESPN. I know both of their writers and editors and don't "steal" their info. If I needed to know something I can all them up and ask or just give them credit like I have a couple times in the past.
And if you actually follow me and the other sites on Twitter, I was the first person to tweet on almost every kid as their LOI came in.
To answer CGgater, there's no gentlemen's agreement. Most of the pay sites have multiple writers working for them and they're usually just on top of the news before I am. They visit more schools, go to more games and cover more camps. We are not a recruiting website and don't report every offer, new leaderboard, coaching visit, etc. I write the stories that matters most and try to provide more in-depth pieces rather than your average run-of-the-mill recruiting update, though I will do those from time to time. But every site serves its purpose and does a great job.

Zach,
Thanks for the reporting and the job you're doing, we get at worst the same info and at best better info than the expensive pay sites.
Keep up the great work, it is appreciated!

Zach, you offer a wealth of information to those of us who are "relatively" passionate about Gator recruiting, i.e. anxious to be informed but too cheap to pay for the data. I appreciate all the news you've provided over the past months. Thanks for your hard work.
As I'm sure you know every crowd has a heckler or two. Fret not about them.
