Jarran Reed no longer committed to Ole Miss
The JUCO DT told me he will choose between Alabama and Florida on Wednesday. Right now I'd have to say the Tide lead for him. He's visited Tuscaloosa the past two weekends. But I've been told UF still feels confident, though.
Hopefully I'll have a better idea of where he stands before NSD.

This kid is a bigger need IMO than either Ramsey or QP.

I hope we get both Bostwick and Reed. Clark and Ramsey would be nice to.

I'd think both. This position is so hard to develop. And when they're good, they don't stay. JUCOs fill the gap nicely with this position.

Wow. I didn't even realize Bama was in the picture for Reed. That will be a shame if we lose him to them. We are thin at DT and getting Reed and another freshman DT (besides Brantley) will give us time to build the depth we need at the position. Glad we at least to Cummings this fall.

Wow. Bama is recruiting at the JUCO level too? I hope UF will and both Reed and Bostwick.

Bama has always recruited jucos, Mt Cody being the last prominent DT.

Re: Jarran Reed no longer committed to Ole Miss
NSD decisions are always risky, as coaches want at least a silent commitment so we don't come up short on needs. If nothing else, we can at least have slots available for those wavering on their commitment to other schools. That buyer's remorse syndrome does come into play with some players.
I keep reading about a secret silent(s) and must admit that DT's are the most difficult to acquire. Ramsey and Clark would be great, but we need depth on our DL and Cummings played with Reed so maybe they will be together again as part of a formidable front line.

Both.

Mount Cody, Jesse Williams, Quinton Dial, Travell Dixon, Deion Belue.. they've been doing it defensively for a couple years, really since Saban showed up.

Earlier this morning they reported that his LOI was in.

I take it this is MA.
Edward Aschoff @AschoffESPN
Another big get for Gus Malzahn as DT Montravius Adams picks #Auburn. I had a feeling Auburn would make some noise today
