We certainly may be asking that question, but at least foley gave the appearance Of trying to weather the storm with this coach. As has been said, and was said by mr college football tony Barnhart who's a lot smarter and more connected than any of us, firing him this year sends a bad message to potential hires down the road

How long does Bama Barnhart suggest?
To me it is not the 3 years he has already had, but the dismal performance, and becoming the butt of jokes nationally.
Besides, fat million dollar contracts outweigh any so-called "message."

Three years is long enough for a program that is on the slide.

Injuries alone give CWM his 4th year.

Accept it.

Move on.

Before merge?! I think we should begin to start new topics every time we post! Instead of replying to someone in that thread, just go and start a new one!! Why not?!

Seriously, this board has gone to **** with this football team! It's almost as fun, varying, and unpredictable as a UF offensive series!

As Much as I hate to say it, it's gonna take a loss to georgia southern for him to get fired.in my opinion, his first year was mediocre.his second year had a lot of luck involved.face it, last year there were so many games we barely pulled out.Now this year, you can see muschamp's a dud.he needs to be fired.

Also... I'm so tired of hearing how much luck he had last year. There was one lucky win against LL... other than that.. .not much luck.

If you are going to say last year was good luck then you have to acknowledge bad luck this year. You can't have it both ways.

What if Jeremy Foley is not alone in his thoughts about this season and willing to give WM another year? This is something I haven't seen discussed or mentioned regarding injuries excusing this year's performance.

What I mean is, with if other schools like Texas or the like, that may strike out with the Sabans, still cling to the job done by WM in last year's 11-2 season. If we don't fire him first, has this season done any damage to say that another school doesn't want to hire him away from us?

Because if injuries are the excuse that we use then I'm sure other schools looking for head coaches will lean on his most recent performance when he didn't lose his starting rb,qb, dt, etc etc to injuries.

Put it this way, if Texas and USCw jobs were open last year fresh off that 11-2 season, there would have been a bidding war for his services.

So are we the only big time school "stupid" enough to go after/keep Muschamp this year or is there a chance that other programs will forgive/dismiss/and excuse this entire season due to injuries?

Lawschool, I've thought of that kind of scenario . . . imagine our shock when WM announces he's leaving for [fill in the blank]. Wouldn't be the first time it happened.

Indeed it would be shocking but it would almost be a relief. We won't be looked at as the bad guys and the school who is too demanding and cutthroat with coaching expectations and much of GSMB and gatornation will get the change they(we) have been clamoring for.

Muschamp has severely injured our season.
Foley must overcome the subversity on the field.
