I'd take Condi over clowns like Herbstreit or Corso.

She is good at golf?

She was Provost (#2 in charge, and chief academic officer) at Stanford. I'm sure she went to a few games.

Seriously, whether you are a supporter of hers or a detractor, you cannot deny she has an excellent intellect, and exceptional analytical skills. She'll do well.

"No one could have imagined."

The bald faced lie.

Herbie would have tOSU bypass the 1st round and go straight to the final game and be heavily favored.

I heard she is a big Pro fan not sure about college but if she was I guess it would be like picking someone off this forum.

I'd have voted for her if she'd run for President. She seems like a highly intelligent lady to me. Maybe she's a big football fan?

She's in some NFL commercial where she states that she's never been to the superbowl but she did watch one at 3:00a. in Afghanistan or something like that.

Zero qualifications for the position. Give me people that understand the intricacies of the game. Don't need another damn scoreboard watcher. I'd rather have the boys in Vegas involved. Give me somebody that appreciates defense as a big part of the game.

I agree that Condolezza Rice doesn't have the qualifications for this position.

If they are trying to diversify the staff by adding a woman, they could have done much worse..(Nancy Pelosi)

I don't understand having current ADs on the committee. Seems like a conflict of interests.

To definitely put doubters to rest in peace :

Condi "grew-up" some in Tuscaloosa = so Bama brain.
She got her Master's at Notre Dame = where Rudy played.
She served on Stanford U Think-Tank on arms control = control of
arms, that's surely athletic.
In '70s she dated NFLer Rick Upchurch = she ended it 'cause he
fumbled too much.

That's all from my think tank.

If she could negotiate with the Israelis and Palestinians she can handle the difficult diplomacy associated with this job. One of the better picks so far IMHO.
