The Dog Fighting/UFD Thread

Postby PastyStoole » Wed May 08, 2013 11:20 pm

Gettin' fired up for the UFD Ultimate Dog Fighting Championships in Mexico City coming up in just three short weeks. Normally you've got to go pay per view on these, but Univision is carrying the fights on regular commercial television on their cable affiliate "Mundo Animales." Here are some of my picks:

"Yo Como su Estómago" vs. Puddles
Tough first round draw for Puddles, who looked a little soft in his last fight and really has done way too much pre-fight yapping to stand a chance. "Yo Como su Estomago" will be angry and motivated. I'm picking him to pin Puddles on his back early and feast on his entrails for a full 15 minutes before Puddles finally expires. This should be a good one for anyone who is into the sick brutality of this sport.

Randy the Springer Spaniel vs. Georges St. Bernard
As usual, Georges St. Bernard has approached this fight with the same cool, professional demeanor he does all his other fights. He may toy with Randy in the beginning to middle stages of the fight, but his Canadian handlers have carefully trained him to look for a neck opening when the opposing dog is too weak to defend itself. Eventually, it is likely Randy will collapse with exhaustion, at which time Georges St. Bernard will go for the throat, ripping at the soft flesh at the top of the thorax and opening up the trachea in a methodical, business like manner. The great thing about this type of injury is that it causes a lot of projectile bleeding and large quantities of spilled blood. Those of you who are in to this type of thing will be absolutely thrilled to watch this disgusting mess.

My overall winner...
I'm picking pit bull/rotty mix "Dientes de Sangre" to win it all. I know he's an up and comer, but I once saw this dog castrate another dog by clamping his powerful jaws on the other dog's testicles and not letting go. Whoa boy will watching him fight be a delightfully gruesome affair. I expect him to employ some stomach turning brutality in each of his fights along the way.

Open to hearing everyone else's picks. This ought to be a great event.

George St Bernard is pound for pound the greatest fighter of them all.

Joe Boxer is the best. He may boast a smiley face but he'll bite you in the ass if you aren't careful.

I'm picking rog-dog-char. His strategy is to bark nonsense at his opponent until he's completely and utterly discombobulated, then he attacks.

Is jereed an MMA/UFC fan? If so, he should enjoy dog fighting, and this discussion, immensely.

He's a huge pitbull fan (the dogs not the rapper) so I think he'd be pretty opposed to this thread.

MMA and dog fighting are nowhere near the same. Don't make such stupid assumptions. One is monstrous and illegal while the other is two consenting fighters testing their skills versus each other.
