Does UF have a hockey team now?

Club team. But I'm talking about hockey on the highest level. If you're a warm blooded white North American male and don't like hockey there might be something wrong with you.

Playoff hockey is pretty exciting. I basically knew nothing about the sport until a few years ago but I will say I've enjoyed the playoffs the last few years.

I'm a warm blooded white Southern American male. Ice and skates don't go together in Florida. At least not when I grew up in G'ville.

The playoffs are great so far. The St. Louis - LA Kings series is one of the most physical I remember seeing in a long time.

Let's go Rangers! Rangers / Caps series could be a classic. Isles are giving Pittsburgh and all their stars all they can handle.

I'm sad to say it but after 2 or 3 work stoppages the past 20 years I have lost some interest in the NHL. And leaving ESPN2 was a bad choice for the NHL. But the playoffs are always very good.

Agreed. With the NBA you can watch the start then turn it back on midway through the 4th quarter and see the conclusion. NBA playoffs started slow this year but are pikcing up some steam now. Overtime playoff hockey is simply the best and most dramatic of any overtime playoff in any sport because one goal wins it.

To be technical, the last two work stoppages were lockouts.
