Mississippi State's Recruiting Strategy

How would you feel if Muschamp and co took this approach to try and lure in talented young prospects?

Just imagine if Dan Mullen would have come here after Urban Meyer resigned!

Do you think this would effectively land the best players in the nation?

The defense's motto can be "We'll open a can of swag on you".

Being rated in the top 10 at his position wasn't enough to make him believe he was a quality athlete, he had to be assured that the staff at Miss State thought he was a baller. I'm sure opening that letter was a moment of clarity and realization for him.

Hmmm let me see here....

Tim Brewster who was with MSU last season and now coaching at the Clown College was known for his recruiting talents. Not sure if this approach was used prior to his arrival at MSU or not but not sure that type of recruiting reaches out to today's players. But if he does promote that well then....

Good News / Bad News

Bad News is that stuff will not work for MSU and the Mullet.
Good News is that he is on Dumbo's staff at the Clown College.

Mullet is playing second fiddle to Hugh Freeze in his own state.
