A Dose for the Football Junkies

Postby guardian » Wed Mar 27, 2013 11:33 pm

I realize the Sun "columnists" are hard at work in Arlington, sharing things like this, because, you know, inquiring minds want to know.

So here is a bit about Florida's spring practices, as of today.

Spring practice reports are like a magician "almost" letting you see
him work on his tricks. He may praise something to hide something
else. It's not 'til you view the trick on the distant stage that the whole
confabulation looks dazzling enough.

Purifoy is doing great on offense .. now moved back to defense ..huh?
XX is doing much better than YY was at this point last year, but he's
nowhere near where we need him to be. Huh - watch which hand ?
Etc. Just telling us something.

Not sure which is sadder: Dooley's Tweets or the people that follow them.

I hear you. I don't do twitter, but see the jist in his "follow me" blurbs. I just threw it in for comparison.

You're right. Also, XYX made some good throws...that's the go-to comment for QBs.
