Alex Anzalone
I was surprised this wasn't already here. Sorry if MOM.
How much does this hurt us if he isn't getting the practice the rest of spring? Anyone have any further news on this or is it a non-issue?

Re: Alex Anzalone
He needs to get his name surgically repaired, looks too much like Anal Zone at first glance.
But as long as he has his nose in the playbook, pays attention in film, works his ass off over the summer, and heals properly, he'll be fine.

I agree. And didn't he have knee surgery right before he got here or last fall? If so, hope he isn't suffering from Patchman syndrome.

Don't forget he needs to give 110 percent!

I was thinking 210%. Go the extra mile plus an extra kilometer.

Matt Rolin was the guy who had knee surgery. Don't believe Anzalone had any issues, until the shoulder thing.

It certainly hurts because more practice definitely helps, but like it was said earlier he can still learn a lot by watching and seeing the playbook.

My oldest son played NT at Furman and tore his labrum during fall practice. Redshirted and rehabbed all year, then tore the anchors out again in the spring. It can be a difficult surgery to come back from some times.

Oh really? When did he play there? My brother was a NT there from 2000-04.

Really, that's wild. He signed with them in '98 left in '00, gave up football after his 2nd surgery.

Kid will be a stud this year no worries about that. It's a minor set back if that. He's got the mental ability to kick a bunch of ass this year.

He doesn`t need any rehab. All he has to do is print his name on the front of his helment, the opposition will be staring cross-eyed at it trying to figure out what it means or is. He can defeat them with one arm.

I'm getting the same surgery next Friday, the 29th. I don't mind the surgery part, I'm not looking forward to the 3 month rehab though.
Of course being a glutton for punishment I'm getting knee surgery for an appetizer on the 26th.

Just hoping I don't wake up and find they've removed something they shouldn't have.

Are they doing this procedure in a tub full of ice after they give you some drinks?
But seriously, I think you'll be fine.
