This Fan-Poll Has UK Winning SEC Tourney
At secdigitalnetwork.com fan-poll to the right has 41% saying UK wins
the tournament, while 17% pick us .... we're in 2nd place. Surely, the
SEC is down in predict-ability this year.
FWIW, UF & UK should certainly elevate SEC's strength next year.
What other teams, if any, do you see helping elevate the perceived
value of SEC next year ? State and explain, please-- for our learning.

Good God. We are officially disrespected. The longer this season progresses, the more it reminds me of the 2012 UF football campaign, replete with great defensive play, lack of offensive identity and dis after dis from various observers. Hope it doesn't end on a similarly sour note.

Unless we win it all, it will end on that sour note. Just like the last 2 years, and ending in the E8, it was a sour note to end on and we just haven't changed much.

I think "sour note" needs a little more perspective than suggesting losing in the title game would leave us all pissed. I'd be thrilled if someone guaranteed us a spot right now.

True. And more perspective to sour note would be the fashion in which we have lost games.
If we actually lose in the E8 or F4 or Title, and we actually play like fighting dogs and just happen to be beat, then that would certainly be different than the melt down we continue to see.
So, in short, just win baby!

I think we hit our stride and win it. The team that manhandled Wisky and Marquette has to show up sometime again.....

There are more UK fans that care about bball than UF fans. So naturally they would have more people voting for them.

Oh I wish ... maybe we should over & over watch only those films.
There's two "here we go again" dramas we can perform in.

Seriously? That Kentucky team is garbage, I don't have them even making the Final.
Boobs were here.

To really wrap this up : we'll have to do what we do well and not do
what we don't do well ... as well as do & not do lots of that.

Why is Wobble the only one with enough common sense to realize this?

He's not, I'm just slow to the punch.
Plus, football pro-day was yesterday and spring ball starts today, so more Gator fans are interested in that than predicting who will win the SEC tourney.
It will be fun to see the KY fans disappointed when they lose on Friday or Saturday and don't even make the title game.

Just have to earn that respect back. Settle this matter on the court.

As long as we come out of the SEC tourney without any serious injuries (Prather should probably wear a foam helmet) I'll be happy. If we win it, all the better, but the Tourney that counts comes next.
And of course, it's a no-brainer that UK is predicted to win the SECT in that poll because more UK fans voted.

A thousand wins in court won't restore respect for any entity caught
with less common sense than "Wobs".

It's not how you start, it's how you finish.
Let's hope our basketball team shows up to win the SEC Tournament rather than think about our seeding in the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky could be winless and would still be the favorite for any fan poll beacuse they have more hoops fans than the rest of the conference combined. Basketball is EVERYTHING to the Mildcats.

Also, even in a poll taken outside the SEC, Kentucky has the
"big brand name" that draws perennial votes.
But this year's voting is off.
