Back To Senior Night For A Moment
For most of us we only care about what these kids can produce as far as wins so we can wear our shirts and hats and walk around and brag. But we need to remember while for some of us attending college was never a question some of the Gators we cheer for on Saturdays or during the basketball season college is a huge deal.
All the seniors basked in the glow of something that was special. Mike Rosario might have enjoyed it more than anybody.
He was emotional during the pregame ceremony, tears needing to be wiped away.
“A lot of things were going through my mind,” he said. “Where I grew up, people didn't think I'd go to college. Now, here I am, a fifth-year senior who is going to graduate in May. And I got to do this, win this championship, with my mom watching.”

Good point Har. Especially with a guy like Rosario, who may or may not have a long pro future. His degree & total college years experience will serve him well in life.
Don't look back, something might be gaining on you.-Satchel Page

Nice post. I agree that we (I'll include myself in this) are often too concerned about what we get from these kids and forget that they are real people living real lives.
Still... I wish Rosario wouldn't have thrown so many terrible passes when UK was rallying on us in the second half.

Work 'em silly Gators!
