Yeguete to play saturday

Postby cuuf » Mon Feb 25, 2013 2:38 pm

Just heard on AM850. Saw he was dressed and warmed up during Arky game, certainly a positive development.

Wow! Certainly don't want him to come back too early and not at full strength but he will be needed.

If true, that knee injury and surgical repair must have been of
lesser extent than usual.? Even if off by a week, it's good to hear.

There wasn't any repair, save for the incision wound. All they had to do was remove a couple "loose bodies" from his knee and sew it back up.

Yeah, Billy said in the post-game interview after the Arkansas game that he could be back this week. I also noticed him taking part in the pre-game shoot around and he didn't seem like he was favoring the leg.
My, you're pretty after the third bottle.

Hope who we put on the floor stays ahead of UT enough that Yeguete
can rest and protect his knee a little longer. But Billy knows best.

He is not playing Tues against Tenn. We might as well go ahead and pencil that game as a loss. We will only have 6 players for that game unless you count Dillon Graham and Braxton Ogbouzezeeze. I will go on record as the worst UF loss this season.

UCLA won its last national championship game with only playing six players the rest of the way after one of its starting guards went down two minutes into the game.

My goof "cuuf", I hope next game he does it isn't out of necessity but
"filtered-in" minutes to "up" his readiness only.

No, not the worst and have a little faith (at least going into the game).

Hehe, maybe I'm an ultra realist. UT for whatever reason has had our number even during our most successful years. It's on the road where we have yet to win any game of significance this year. It's a must win for Tennessee which has been playing solid ball of late. And to top it off, we are looking at a 6 man rotation thereby reducing our ability to play the lock down defense that has been our signature this season. Nonetheless I will be tuned in and hoping for the best. :D

Hey, at least you have hope. It's not a strategy, but it's better than nothing.

It is defense boys, and Yegette is an ACE defensive player...

Just let Kenny sit out there and pop 'em.

'course you're right "cuuf". That's what's stacked against us. As our
typical jinx at this venue goes like :
1 - refs handcuff Patric with home-called fouls
2 - Boynton decides this is the time to shoot his way out of a slump.
3 - Gator passes 'lazycal' and UT guys hyper lunging = TOs
4 - 3s become our only belief.
5 - all occurs as we play without a clue .

But this time we outmaneuver their D, 'outmanure' their refs, and
draw fouls to hit 80% of our FTs. GROW GATORS !!

I hope Boynton decided to try and shoot his way out of his slump during practice this week....
