Too bad this wasn't Miami getting this company's naming rights...

According to a report from fauowlaccess.com, Florida Atlantic is close to a deal with the GEO Group to put the company's name on its stadium for $5 million.

If you don't know what GEO Group specializes in, that might be a good sign. It's the self proclaimed, "world's leading provider of correctional, detention, and community reentry services."

The GEO neon logo as a promo for recidivism. FAU will run that
statute of liberty play and try to sign some serial tacklers. They will
wear jail-breakaway jerseys.

I went to FAU (no degree) and have no issue with this. The company has connections to the school, their headquarters are nearbuy, and they offered the most money.

Now if the company has issues and lawsuits that is seperate.
