The Noles Take a Hit (ACC Championship Game)
Apparently it wasn't only Gators who were not interested in this game. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal ... nship-game

They'll make it up with tickets sales to the circus.

Supposedly lost $479,000. All FSU students' fault for not attending.
Admin is considering marketing their circus' elephant dung fertilizer
as best for growing health-food sprouts - a natural call to health-food
conscious people. Also considering traveling tent of freakshow folks,
as long as they've kept their grades up.

This is just another poor result of playing in that sad, unimpressive league...

Well that and UF breaking a foot off in their a** really hurt any high hopes they had so everybody jumped ship.
What's funny was almost everybody picked them to win it all but after we beat them we didn't seem to get any credit.

Did any of you think they will continue to reap the benefits of tax dollars flowing their way? The way I see it, this is only the beginning of FSU's downfall. Those sorry asses now regret joining the ACC. It's almost impossible for them to bail out to another conference due to, you guessed it, lack of funds. I seriously doubt they can/will fork out the several millions of moolah to bail out of the ACC.
The gift that just keeps on giving. Next thing you know they will be forced to accept out of conference scheduling like FAU and FIU
in order to make up for the lost funds in that crappy athletic program.

They obviously lied about the actual attendance during the ACC title game when it was clear it looked just as empty as the Miami-USF game a few years back when we saw more USF fans than Canes fans in Miami.

They claimed most of those tickets were purchased by a Samoan
tribe that have offspring taking i-net courses at FSU.

I don't think Gators can brag about their turnout at their bowl game or the performance of the team. I think all of this just reflects the hit college football is taking in general. The product just isn't as popular anymore.

Please pay attention. This was not a bowl game. The true comparison is the ACC Championship Game versus the SEC Championship Game. Look at the turnout for (and the interest in) the SEC Championship Game versus the ACC Championship Game.

Fixed.
But just you wait, by golly. Playoffs are the answer - fans can travel to two or three or more games when the season ends. Why travel to LSU or Tennessee? Those games don't matter when we have playoffs!

I guess you can say that playing in the ACC is a losing proposition.

Here, you take this thing.
