I'd put my money on the team from Florida.

While I agree the ACC is down, the conference is better than the SEC this year. They have 2 teams in the top 10. Our Gators are the only ranked team in the SEC, if I'm not mistaken.

Miami's great record is due to wins vs ACC teams. They lost to Florida Gulf Coast and Indiana State.

Understood, but would you not agree that they are playing just a little better than that at this point? I hate Da U, but they are playing as well as anyone in the country right now.

Winning 45-43 isn't exactly that impressive on offense. If we had played them and they played like that we would have blown them out.

Below radar, I can see your point. Publically, it's against every inner fiber for me to say anything positive against those blowhards.
Are they playing as well as anyone in the country? They keep winning, although they have needed a tip-in with 0.8 seconds left on the clock and a three-pointer from their 7-footer to get a couple of those wins against weak teams. The luck bubble usually bursts.

^ In other words, they are finding a way to win games on the road during conference play. Much more than a lot of teams can say for themselves.

They've gotta play Coach K again, this time, @ Dook (misspelling courtesy of my Dad, UNC class of 1941), on March 2nd. As much as I'm no Dook fan, Coach K won't let them out of his gym with a win.

I suspect we win. They scared the daylights out of me in some of their earlier games. Their last was awful, and I think it shows how you get them. Play fast to neutralize the big guy. Clog the middle and they start throwing up wild threes.

That said it could have been a day when they completely lost focus. We've done the same thing. It's a long season and there's a game every three or 4 days.
With any luck, my time here is limited.

This 'Cane team is bulky and toweringly imposing. Larkin is their
essential leader. Boynton/Wilbekin would derail Larkin such that
'cane team loses its rudder. We win by 15+.

We would win by 10-20 depending on the location of the game. Our defense would Pestorius* them.

Florida beats them. The only team out there that would give Florida fits night in and night out is Indiana with the way they're playing right now. There are several that could beat Florida on any given night, but I really don't think Miami is one of them.

Just a personal opinion so you can believe it or be wrong. Your choice.

If UF payed 3 games against MIami, UF would win all of them by 15 points or better; you guys are intimidated by UM's record in a weak ACC. I am not. I have watched them several times, They look like a bunch of truck drivers out there with no plan - just shoot.

Florida knows defense. Donovan knows defense. Miami does not. That low scoring thing against Clemson was not due to excellent defense - but lousy shot selection and a slowed down offense not knowing what to do...

UF would have troubles against Duke and Louisville & Kansas. Let us pray we can avoid those teams in the Tournament. With Legette back, I don't see us losing any more regular season games...
