I'll go out on a limb and say this kid starts the season opener ...

It certainly sounds like they are making room for him. Purifoy suspended and probably moved to WR when he returns and Watkins to safety.

I hope he's as good as advertised.
Any other new players you see getting significant PT or starting? I imagine at least one of the JUCO DT's and one of the 3 transfer/juco OL's will start.

I think Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Moore will become starters at some point next season, perhaps as early as the first game. Darious Cummings will get a lot of snaps (maybe even possibly start) and Alex Anzalone, Daniel McMillian, Kelvin Taylor should be in the rotation at their positions right away.

Thanks Zach. Sounds reasonable. I'm curious how Max Starks plays. He's been on campus a year longer than Moore.
The LBs are going to get a chance to see the field a lot next season.
Do you think Reed or Cummings is the better of the two? I didn't realize (until reading your report just before NSD) that Reed was being pursued by Bama. That's good to know.

I do stuff like this all the time. Lately I've been getting the names Chris Martin (former UF football player) and Chris Walker (incoming BB player) mixed up. Max Starks is at the tail end of a successful NFL career with the Steelers. At least the two players you confused play the same sport and position.

Are we committed to calling him VHIII? I'm perfectly fine with it, however I hope it's not a trend that gets beat to death for every 3rd now that RGIIIhas popularized it.

I'm hoping VHIII (which is actually entitled "Women and Children First," but that's a different Heavy Metal story for another time... ) can make a major contribution this Fall. If they are serious about splitting Purifoy between O and D, then he needs to rotate out enough at CB that he isn't wore out in the final minutes of the 4th. After the way he shut down treadwell in the UA game, I think the kid is up to the challenge.

Zach tweet.
#Gators WR early enrollee @demarcus11robin told @GatorZoneScott he's put on eight pounds since arriving at #UF last month. He's now at 203.

I agree. He's better than Haden as a freshman. This kid was groomed to be a shut down corner. Gives us a lot of options for getting some QB pressure, which we need.

Exactly! 8 lbs in 1 month is nuts. It's that meal plan lol.

Is this strictly because he's an EE or do you think that he's more talented than Ahmad Fulwood?

Hearing your name in a starring role is the greatest reward. I wish
we'd give Hargraves that perk instead of some copycat moniker
originated at some other school. IDK ??
