Re: Vikings looking to trade Percy
Hope he goes where someone knows how to quell migraines and such.
Sure, NFL is pro$port, but it's a team sport over all things.
I hate to see Percy labeled a pariah and passed around reluctantly.
Hope New England gets him. Bet Percy will shine-fine there.

Him and Timmy together anywhere would be great.
Seems the Dolphins are looking at a few big name Wrs but I wouldn't count them out.

Him and Wes along with the TE attack that they use.... Would be fun to watch.

He would be replacing Wes.

I hope the bum gets dropped. When he isn't "sick" he is being a distraction in the locker room. I seem to remember that he got physical in some way with the coaching staff at UF and now has been argumentative at least with two other NFL coaches. Let the scoundrel go back to wherever he is from to live out his days doing whatever he can with the money he has saved. He hasn't impressed me with his moral character.....although his physical ability is more than ample.

Re: Vikings looking to trade Percy
The Vikings Med Staff thought they had the migraine problem under control. However, they then drafted Ponder and Harvin has had chronic migraines ever since.
Seriously, he's a great talent but he's never been held accountable. He had some discipline problems in HS. Then Urbs never gave him the needed "tough love" at UF, probably afraid Harvin would lose it on him. Now it sounds like, as talented as he is, the Vikings are trying to move him.
Maybe moving him to the Pats will be the best move for Percy. Belichick may provide him with the structure he needs, or he'll be gone. I hope he grows up. Would love to see all the different ways the Pats could use him with Hernkowski!

So many times when an "on-the-field" effective player goes on
this type of trading jag, it's the start of a downward spiral out of
the league. Hope not. Bad news when a team that needs you so
much, does not want you.
Hope he gets right place quick, and reproves his on-field worth quick.

Why so? Welker's still relatively young, in decent shape and isn't one to bail out of a game with a migraine... That said, his $9M/year contract, coming free agency do make him less likely to be around, but still he's more likely to be around next season than Brandon Lloyd

Re: Vikings looking to trade Percy
Welker is begining the downside of his career right now. He's taken a lot of abuse due to his size and how he is utilized. Pats won't want to give him the money he can probably get from a team willing to overpay elsewhere so I think he may be gone with or without the acquisition of Percy. He is close with Brady however so that may provide some pull. Lloyd should be gone, he just did not work out.

Harvin just needs to grow up already. He failed the drug test at the combine!!! This is the hardest drug test in the history of the world to fail and he did it. Hernandez failed it too, but the Pats seem to have him on the right track. I hope Percy can figure it out while he still has an opportunity to change things up. He is an absolute beast when his head is in it.

Mercy Percy is our "scoundrel" so we love him regardless... however, there's much validity to your warranted comments... growing up playing sports in the 50's and 60's you never saw (at least I never did) outburst towards authority/coaches the likes of Mercy Percy... Timmy T could've easily gone "percy" on jets coach but did not since he's a better man... maybe blame for Percys behavior should rest with former coaches.
