I am assuming his mother was killed back then ? What a crazy story. I wonder if he mentioned something about his son playing football and that tipped someone off who he might be.

Very well could be the case (him talking up his son). He did a great job of being on the lamb....
An 18-month old getting shot is ridiculous....and very surprising that, not only he survived, but isn't paralyzed....much less growing up to be a star HS linebacker.
I went to elementary & junior HS w/ a kid (from Jacksonville) who was convicted of 1st degree murder. He escaped and was found more than a year later in Nevada. He was featured on America's Most Wanted.

If this story is "top news" because it connects to the "now-famous"
Reuben Foster shouldn't there be a short paragraph about how an

I agree. I think it is shameful that the media even mentions the kid. Why drag him into it?
