Bama losing OL coach?

Looks like Chip Kelly is doing us a favor!
---
Alabama offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland is expected to take on the same position with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple reports.
Neither Alabama nor the Philadelphia Eagles are commenting on the news. New head coach Chip Kelly has confirmed just three of his assistant coach hires.
Hired to replace Joe Pendry, Stoutland came to Alabama in 2011 after a four-year stint at Miami (Fla.). In each of his two seasons, the Crimson Tide's offensive line was considered to be among the best in the nation.
This past year, Alabama's offensive line included a unanimous All-American (Chance Warmack), a consensus All-American who also won the Rimington Trophy (Barrett Jones) and a second-team Associated Press All-American (D.J. Fluker). Alabama averaged 227.5 rushing yards per game in 2012.
Stoutland, a New York City native, was one of a number of former Miami coaches linked to the recruiting violations scandal that -- more than a year since the Yahoo! Story broke -- continues to be investigated by the NCAA.

For real, it seems as though they never suffer from the "losing assistant coaches bug". Now if only someone could come and get Smart as well. Probably won't matter much because Saban is a boss.

Sounds like Chip is doing Saban a favor and taking Stoutland off his hands before the infractions come to play.
Either way, glad to see a notch taken from Bama.

Saban will oversee the defense, offense, recruiting, etc. so losing coaches won't affect Bama as much as it might other schools. He has his system in place and it's the envy of all schools int D1 football.
Muschamp has learned from Saban what kind of system and talent and the development of talent is necessary so he is now primed to be a genuine contender in the SEC and nationally. He recruits well, and knows how to have players that will build the kind of team he wants, not just have 5*'s all over the roster who might not fit the chemistry of Gator Football.
Our "D" will always be good with Muschamp and Durkin and Young, so now Pease can have his way with all the new WR and OL and RB talent headed our way.

He'll probably just promote one of his 15 "analysts"....no drop off, since the "analyst" has probably been coaching the OL part-time anyway.

Also, another cheap move by 'Bama. He waited until the day after signing day to announce he was leaving. I wonder what kids he was responsible for recruiting that maybe would have looked elsewhere had he announced he was leaving say 3 weeks ago.

Anything to put a chink in that armor.
Reporter "What do you think about your team's execution?". John McKay "I'm all for it".
