Deonte Thompson...Super Bowl Champ?
So, Deonte Thompson is on the Ravens' active roster: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/team/roster.html
Does that make him the most unlikely Gator to ever win a ring? I don't think he was on their gameday roster but for the most part, if you're employed by the organization you get a ring.
Amazing.

No catches?
Like always.
BTW, we forgot him in that 5 star flop thread a few weeks ago. Thanks for bringing him up.

He will probably drop the ring when they give it to him.

GatorCountry.com @GatorCountry
Despite not playing Deonte Thompson will get a ring and gives the #Florida #Gators a Super Bowl winner for the 11th consecutive year.

How about this one...
The only two players in UF history to be on the roster of a BCS National Championship team and a Super Bowl Champion are Deonte Thompson and Dallas Baker.

He's the anti Percy recruiting pitch.
Urban doesn't like to admit it but he tells every recruit to come play for him and be the next Percy Harvin but only one guy plays the "Percy position" and the other five guys play the "Deonte Thompson position" = blocking down field.

I don't think Hill was on the 2011 Giant's team that won the superbowl. He apparently played with the Arizona Rattler's (Arena Football) in 2011 and signed with the Giant's in Spring 2012.

Re: Deonte Thompson...Super Bowl Champ?
You guys can mock him all you want, but the Ravens saw enough of his ability to sign him as an undrafted free-agent.
Also, but he is the 1 wearing the great big diamond ring and getting paid several hundred thousand dollars to stand around, watch the Super Bowl from the Sidelines and cheers.
How much did you all get paid to watch the Super Bowl?

It's clear this is headed to a JB/JD highjacking.

Well, probably because it wasn't handed to him by "a real quarterback".RowdyReptile wrote:He will probably drop the ring when they give it to him.
