*** Super Bowl XLVII: Ravens vs. 49ers ***
Guys, I'm so old I can remember the first one, in 1966, pitting the AFL and NFL champions. The meaningfulness remains the same, to determine the best damn professional football team in the world.
I think it's gonna be the 49ers.

I can't wait for this game to be over so Ray Lewis can finally fade into obscurity.
I so sick of the love fest over him the past month. And I'm tired of seeing that stupid dance of his. They must have shown it 500 times today alone.

I couldn't care less who wins this one, but I still have to watch it.

My hope is that Kaperwhatever rushes for about 170 yards, throws a few wobbly passes, wins 28 - 10 and is the game MVP. Give these GM's that hate Tebow something to think about.

Baltimore has the upper hand right now. Not that I really care.

Just turned the game on, and the first play I see is the fake kick. You're up 14-3. Why in the hell do you call that play? I don't care, Phil Simms, how many 49ers are looking to block the kick. You look to add 3 to your total.

Even though the didn't get any points they still flipped the field, again. If it worked the game might have been over. Baltimore is abusing San Fran's safety's.

Was thinking the same thing but if they would have got it the game might have been kissed goodbye. Even though they didn't the 49ers cant even get a first down without a struggle so I like the call. If both teams were scoring easy I wouldn't have liked the call

There is no middle ground with a call like that. If it works you're crazy genius. It it fails you look like an ass. I go back to the fact that the Ravens are already sitting on a double-digit lead. It's one thing if you're down and looking to get back into it, but when you're sitting on a lead like that, I don't get it.
Simms, meanwhile, is cracking me up, coming up with every conceivable reason, including field position, to justify the risky move.

And again. That's what happens when you play with two strong safety's.

Apparently so. The safety wasn't within eight yards of him when the ball came down. And the attempt at tackling the Ravens receiver afterward was just as pathetic.

Two things for Flacco in the off season. 1. No more doubters. 2. No more money problems.
