Opening up lays down the field is all well and good, but you still need your oline to block long enough for those plays to develop. By the way, do you think d's were staying back on us as we ran up the middle 75% of the time this year?

Quick slants/screens. Our O-line had periods last year where they couldn't stop a 2-year old on a tricycle, but dumping off on those quick slants gets the ball out of Driskel's hands much faster and will force the defense to lay off a little bit. If they want to keep charging in, there's no reason why they can't march down the field 5 yards at a time.
