Ole Miss' Marshall Henderson

A little showboating by Ole Miss' Marshall Henderson in the Ole Miss 63-61 win over Auburn in which Henderson sank the winning free throws. Henderson then went over to the Auburn stands and flipped his shirt letting the crowd know that he won the game. The Auburn crowd in turn flipped Henderson.

Henderson may the most polarizing player in college basketball. The dude is good. He has led the SEC in scoring and plays with a lot of enthusiasm, but can be a little over-the-top. He is from Texas, played his freshman year at Utah, transferred to Texas Tech, left there when Pat Knight left Tech,sat out a year, played JUCO ball last year for South Plains (Texas) where he was JUCO player of the year and led South Plains to the Number 1 JUCO rank.

Ole Miss comes to the O'Dome Satuday. In order to keep its perfect record in the SEC this season, the Rebels will need to get by Kentucky Tuesday night in Oxford.

Will like to see what kin of reaction Henderson gets if he tries to pull any stunts at the O'Dome.

Did he ever play at Tech? He would of also had to sit out a year after transferring from Utah, and then played as a third-year sophomore. Then you say he sat out another year before going to JUCO in what would be a fifth-year senior Senior??? How's he have eligibility left after playing three years and sitting out two?

He got busted on drugs charges and 'left' Tech. He never played there.

Henderson can shoot but he's a garbage human being. I don't know why he can't just play in the game instead of showing his ass all game long.

Granted our guys didn't directly go over to the visitor's section but if it weren't for walls they may well have.

There is a difference between being animated and enthusiastic (see Joakim Noah) and being an absolute di@@.

I go way back to the days of Charles Barkley playing to the crowd and making the games fun so don't think I don't get it, I do. Charles was a showman and was good for the game, this clown is a thug with a checkered past and an ego well beyond his game.

This kid is waaaaaay out of control. Our guys need to take care of him on the court versus the students riding him from the stands.

Best put-down of Henderson is to frustrate his shooting with
"glue-stick" defense. He is going to keep shooting even if he's
hurting his team. Make him 'redfaced' to match his uniform trim.
