Unbelievable!

Northern Illinois scored 4, that's right 4 points in the first half of their game against E. Michigan last night.
That's a new NCAA record.
They went 0-32 from the arc until hitting the last one to finish the night 1-33.

I heard they hit the first one and then went on a dry spell and then scored again late.

I mentioned this last night, but didn't think to give it its own thread. In any case, Northern Illinois scored on a fast break in the 1st minute to go up 2-0. Then they missed 29 shots in a row. That was their only basket of the half - the other two points came on free throws.

Sorry, but I hadn't read your post.
I was amazed that in this day and age a D-l (or any college) team would only score 4 points in a half. Amazed to the point that I posted it.

What's amazing to me is that they broke their OWN record of 5 points in a half set in December... you can't blame it on a bad shooting night when it happens twice in a month and a half. They just plain suk offensively.
