Mock Draft: Manuel No. 7, Floyd to Broncos, Elam to Pats
Could the Cardinals be that desperate? I'm surprised the guy would be considered a first rounder let alone that high.

What an idiotic mock draft at least as far as qbs go. those 3 qbs going in the top 10 would be a shame. and tavon austin as percy harvin part 2??? what crack is that guy smoking?

Manuel is a version of Jamarcus Russell, with better wheels.

Where the eff is Star Lotulelei? A consensus top 5 guy no where in the 1st? That's just ONE of the problems here.

If accurate, someone should tell Floyd to prepare for the first half of his career to be first round playoff losses at best.

Percy part 2? Hardly. More like Lil Percy...

I thought I saw something about Floyd's stock is really rising and people have been impressed with him and he has worked his way into the top 10 picks. I don't remember where I saw it at though.

Exactly, austin is a dynamic player but he is no percy harvin and should never be compared to him. more like dexter mccluster part 2.

I know we are supposed to parrot that Percy Harvey is the best player ever, but outside of Gator homers, you'll never hear that.
I don't think PH has ever had a 1000 yard season, and the top NFL receivers get 2000 or so. His yards per attempt is usually good but there is always something keeping him off the field.
I don't know what Austin will be. He is really small. I suspect he'll be a returner and rarely see the field otherwise.

I remember hearing many NFL analysts say early in the season that Percy was one of the MVP's of the league. Before he got hurt he was easily on track to get well over 1,000 yards receiving and 2,000 all purpose yards. Vikings fans love him like we did but also don't care much for his attitude which is understandable.

Certain guys never rack up earth-shattering statistics but are still regarded by peers and fans as among the most dangerous in the game. Sayers, partly by virtue of an injury-shortened career, was an example. Terry Metcalf also comes to mind. If Devin Hester had a better career as a receiver, I might also include him.
I think Harvin falls into this category. He's almost universally regarded as one of the five most dangerous players on the game. Anytime you get the ball in his hands, he's capable of taking it the distance.

Manuel has no future in the league. He's garbage.

Yes, we're all Homers but he hasn't had a QB worth a damn since his rookie year and he still has had some great stats. Now, put him on the Patriots in the Wes Welker position and he racks up Hall of Fame numbers.

I used to agree with you, but I thought he showed a lot of guts in the UF game when he came back in after the Morrison hit. He may have matured or I may have been mistaken. Fortunately, he couldn't turn FSU into a power.

You think the Patriots could keep him from getting hurt or sick?
