It's weird seeing him out there throwing down dunks like it's nothing. I just remember how stiff he played during his Fr season at UF. Good to see him doing well. Watch out, Miami now looks like the favorite to win the ACC.

Watched a bit of it . Miami asserted its dominance ... over #1 Duke.
They really took it to Duke under the basket. They were huge enuf
to be scary if refs let them bang. Kadji scored like 22, but he wasn't
UM's leading scorer.

Alkejlori ...F .. 6'10" ... 236 jr.
Jekiri .......C .. 7'0" ... 227 fr
Kadji ......F .. 6'11" ... 242 sr.
Johnson ...C .. 6'10" ... 292 sr.

That Johnson is like LSU's "Baby Doc" of long ago, muscles hidden
'neath baby fat, but he commands space. U Miami plays tall-ball.
Will we have to meet them in March Madness ?

We have more athletic bigs to match up with them. Billy D has always wanted our guys to go right at bigger line ups so he knows how to handle them. We would run them up and down the floor to tire them out. Its a staple of Billy D's coaching style. We would be too athletic for them. In March Madness where its one and done, anything can happen. Foul calls could go either way and someone could get hot shooting at any time. I would like to think our D would frustrate their PG and cause them a lot of turnovers.

Well it was a crushing no matter what we could or do to them, I do believe the Gators could hang with anyone this year if we play the way we can, we came out awful at Georgia and you could see it. They (ga) were playing HARD and it showed in the first half, we wore them down in the second even being short handed Jawga should have never hung with us period but we let them in the first.
If you would like to keep your coach you can

Yes, and a Miami team that lost to Florida Gulf Coast and Tennessee St.....

Clearly Duke was an over rated #1.

Really? I saw Kadji drive to the hoop with the ball from the top of the key a couple of times. We have nobody over 6'6" that can do that for us. Miami was playing out of their heads in that game and likely would have beaten any team in the country (on that night). It would be an interesting match up if we got them in the tourney; but I for one, after watching that game, would be a little worried. We need to get healthy and get the Freshman (other than Frazier) some more PT.

UM looks to be a contender for the ACC crown; that's the
basketball conference .

UM has only lost 2: by 12 to 'powerlouse' Fl. Gulf Coast and
by 19 to Arizona (neutral site: Hawaii).
Still, apparently they are 'gelling' into a tougher crew. They will
take it inside, where the surer shots are.(Unless Patric says "no").

But like all here, I lean toward us running them ragged, harassing
their ball-handling into TOs, and (hopefully) hitting the outside.
We'd need Prather, Yeguete, and Young to play tough in that game.

Yet still, I would have expected coach K's Duke to win even on a
sub-par night. If Miami can play that way once, can't they play that
way again ? Well .. they'll meet Duke again.
