Not likely especially not the Fins.
Reasons:
Commissioner does not want moves.
Fins own their stadium.

I wouldn't be so sure. They are treading water down there with little hope of it getting better. LA, is a gold mine. Ross, is a businessman, with an ego.
Maybe they should sign Tebow to save the franchise?

Ross can't be fishing for the Dolphins ... by law they have to use
dolphin excluder nets out there. Sheesh, dealing with the
ill-informed is such a burden.

Not really. That was low hanging fruit but I had to go there and get it out of the way. This has nothing to do with him. I'm above the tactics of the jock worshipers(I kid, I kid
).But forreelz, it's just speculation but it makes sense. Owning your own stadium isn't ideal for 80% percent of the league. Attendance for Dolphin games is an embarrassment and they can't sell tickets for any of their events(which floats the stadium cost). The deal in LA, even without owning the stadium, is a better deal for Ross if he's looking. And I know he's thought it over on some level. It's business, he would be doing himself a disservice if he didn't at least listen and entertain the idea. I'm sure people think there's no way Miami goes without a franchise, but they said that about LA too. Just sayin'.

Looks like they are following the Miami Marlins business plan. Good for them. Wait a minute...

Smart thing to say. And the exact same thing every commish has said up until the day a team moves.

Business plan? It must be a well-kept secret...like philidelpigator is showing in his post: put a roof over it, air condition the dam place and attendance will follow. Oh, I also forgot....start winning some football games.
Seems the Hurricanes and the Dolphins have the same problem for the same reason..

Goodell only cares about what makes the NFL/owners money. If a move accomplishes this, it will happen...

It will be the Jags probably if a move is made.

Last week the Fins announced a 70 million stadium renovation, I don't think they are going anywhere.
The Bucs are one of the 10 most profitable franchises, I don't think they will chase the money.
That leaves the Jags.

Definitely not the Bucs. They're very profitable here, and good fan support, the recession notwithstanding.
If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girls sports, such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing and such and such.

Jags are history. What a shame. All they had to say was "Tebow" and they would have been permanently a Jacksonville team.
Too bad.
Too bad.

I have no idea how to interpret this, but this much I do know: Miami is a shyt sports town, and the Dolphins finishing last in NFL attendance this season is part of the proof.

They announced?
No, they're asking for 400 million from the South Florida tax payers in the form of a sales tax increase. Good luck with that.
Oh, and if you don't pass it, look for Ross to leverage the LA deal to force it on you or just pack up and leave with that excuse in hand.

Although their attendance was also an embarrassment this year I don't think they would ever leave, nor would they want to. They enjoy a good situation there. Miami is a totally different dynamic.
