Of course it will be hard to keep the number of members in each division equal. But after all Big Ten teams become members of Division 1 they can reload them all in Division 2 and start over.

Along those lines, the SEC could realign its divisions into the following:

BCS National Champions

Not Yet BCS National Champions

It would be a fairly even split -- 5 in the 1st division, 9 in the 2nd.

Certainly more even than the Big 10's "Lost to the SEC yet?" Divisions.
