Dan Quinn leaving - Durkin promoted to DC
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Names to watch for #Eagles DC job, whoever gets HC job: #Georgia DC Todd Grantham & #Florida DC Dan Quinn. Experience stopping the spread
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
For Grantham, he's had experience at both levels. For Quinn, wanna guess who his DC was in his NFL stint? Gus Bradley with Seahawks
Bradley is a strong candidate for the Eagles HC job.

This would be a hard hit before NSD. Grantham FTW.

I just don't see Quinn going or even tempted. Of course, I've been wrong before. He could have stayed in the NFL and got this job. I would say worry about Quinn in about 2 years.

Why do Florida's coaches ALWAYS come up for other jobs? All the way back to SOS even. Maybe it's just because I'm on GSMB that I hear about them more but why isn't Kirby Smart's name coming up for these jobs? Reading all of y'alls comments about Saban/Alabama being "All World" this and that I would think that Kirby Smart has experience "Stopping the Spread".

Quinn and Pease need to stay until we win a national championship.
THEN, they can go elsewhere.

I am very pleased you were able to write that into their contracts.

Yea they need to stay so we can have some sort of stability. This is crazy. This will be the first time in how many years we have the same DC and OC returning?

Re: Dan Quinn speculation
Quinn can obviously make more money in the League, but I remember reading he enjoys coaching college guys and helping with their development as people and players. The NFL is all about business and dealing with millionaire owners, HC's and prima donna players all around.
Hope he stays with us for a good while, and really does enjoy the college life.

It makes sense that his name would come up...NFL experience and there are a TON of openings right now.

More than the experience, he has the players. You can stop a lot of things when your X's are always better than your opponent's O's.

Just saw #Seahawks DC Gus Bradley is headed to #Jags as head coach. Don’t be surprised if #Gators DC Dan Quinn is on short list for DC.

Quinn back to Seattle?
thought we were done with these rumors. but this from Adam Schefter on twitter:
There is a "strong possibility" Florida DC Dan Quinn will return to Seattle to replace Gus Bradley as DC, though CLEV and PHIL interested.
SIck of this quinn/pease leaving rumor every damn time a job opens up!

Anytime you have good coaches, that's going to happen.
It says something about the level of your program.
