I thought it was pretty impressive how he was able to pull a flopping, 100 pound tarpon onto the dock by himself with one arm.

Lucky for him tarpon don't have any teeth.

I love fishing...pompano are in our lagoon now...m,m,m,m good to eat!

By the way, that tarpon was...maybe...40 pounds at most.

That was impressive. Took a brass set to stay calm while waiting on that thing to swallow your arm. Tarpon strike bait like Matt Elam seeks contact.

New Florida law says you aren't supposed to lift tarpon out of the water, right?

Regardless, I was rooting for the tarpon. Kick his ass, sea bass.

I've created a bumper sticker ... (maybe for boat trailer bumper) :
"If they outlawed open ocean fishing, I'd be up the creek." :)
