Anzalone Attacked on Twitter

I am kind of an old guy who does not get this fascination with Twitter. I have no idea why people would want to "follow" anyone, let alone a 17-18 year old kid for any.

However, all that aside, there are some really sick people attacking the kid via twitter. Some people really need to get a life (and before anyone says anything, if roles were reversed, I could see just as many rabid Gator fans doing the exact same thing). I just scratch my head and continue to think.....what a bunch of dick bags in this world!!

So once fans discovered the news, Anzalone was on the receiving end of many angry Tweeters.

Note: Anzalone was receiving hundreds of tweets once the news broke. Many were not appropriate to feature in this article. Here are some of the nicer ones.

So the kids should be held to a higher standard than the coach, who'll be gone in a year or two unless ND return to 6-6 records, and then he'll just be gone?

Guess it sucks for them. First Urban ditched their offer and now Anzalone. Just hope he brings 2 NC's with him too.

On a side note, everyone knows ND is full of asshats, so the kid should feel real happy about his decision.

I believe our WR Louis Murphy switched from ND to UF. When that
news got out, Regis Philbin, a big ND fan, looked straight at his
national audience, announced Murphy's name and decision; then
Regis said "Kid, biggest mistake in your life." That's an ND fan !

Yep it cost him and ND. After an beatdown like he got in the NCG he did need to drop off the radar. Its what ya get for doing something stupid like that.
