They are one of the few teams that make me feel good about being a Dolphin fan.Renamed my iPod as 'the Titanic' so when I plug it in it's says 'the Titanic is syncing.'

Opens the door for Josh McDaniels. I'd build the whole freaking franchise around Tebow. What do you have to lose, repeated losing seasons and tarps on seats?
If they have to stones and "out-of-the-box" mindset to gamble on a punter with a 3rd round pick (like they did last year), then why not on Tebow.

The ex-Gator Mularkey played with the hand he was dealt...wrong place, wrong time for him but had to be done! A complete re-boot was necessary!

Bad news guys.....
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Two candidates for the Jaguars HC job are expected to be 49ers OC Greg Roman and Rams OC Brian Schottenheimer.

Not that bad -- the 49ers run the read option.

[edit: Shotty is a] Former Gator QB (4th string) under Spurrier and was a GA for the offense after he graduated. Has a couple years of experience in the NFL. Quite the fast ascension if you ask me. I'd pass...

I have a picture with Mularkey on the field after the USC game in 1982 (I was 12). Good TE at the end of his stay at UF, and a good guy. Wrong spot, wrong time.

Re: Mularkey fired
I was hoping Mularkey would tell Kahn to go get Tebow and that he will have a chance to start at QB or atleast play in special packages, the wild cat or read option scenarios. I don't think this fring helps bring in Tebow because what new coach wants to deal with that? Unless it is McDaniels.
The funny thing is if Mularkey and ex Jags GM Smith pushed harder for Tebow last spring and they got him then they would both still be working for the Jaguars. But they didn't and they are gone.

Fired after one season. Yet I don't hear anyone on ESPN claiming he didn't get a fair shot because of his race. Hmmm...

Ok, Byte - about the 1982 game with USCw and Mularkey the Gator tight end. A USCw linebacker was in that gtame too - Jack DelRio. The odd thing is that Mularkey replaced DelRio at the Jaguars as HC...

Didn't think about that Dugaboy. I think the only player I remember from that USC team was Salisbury (because Wilber just about killed him that day).
