'Bama players have too much fun in Miami

Postby WashingtonDCGator » Sat Jan 05, 2013 3:14 pm

Saban sent two players home after breaking curfew. Looks like the Miami nightlife is a bit too distracting for some members of the Tide

Don't read too much into this, depth-wise. These two were along for the ride, so-to-speak. Not a big loss for Bama. If anything, doing this will get the others' attention....

Yeah Saban sent them home. He taught them better than that to get caught.

Dillon Lee from Buford, GA. His family bought tickets after they found out that the winner of the UGA / Bama game will play in Miami (their other son is a guard on UGS).

Kids are kids, college football coaches are, well, they're sort of like dads. Saban takes sh** from no one. One of the reasons the wagon keeps rolling.

Can't you guys see through Saban tactics ? ""Look .. you 2 kids won't
play, but you want to help your team ? Right away, break curfew so
I can make innocuous example out of yall, and keep the stars in line.""
We know Bama wins 'cause the stars are in line.

Ole Miss stomped Pittsburg who took #1 Notre Dame to 3 OTs.
Vandy romps. LSU flops to ACC. UF flops to Louisville.
Tex. a&m romps OU.
Makes for an odd season's results.
What will Bama do ... especially, without those 2 players sent home.??

Yes, he is. And he's done as well as or better than the "Master" too. Saban took over at AL in 2007. Take a look at his superb record during his first couple of years:

2007
Sat, Sept 22 Vs Georgia L 26-23 OT 3-1 (2-1)
Sat, Sept 29 @ Florida St L 21-14 3-2 (2-1)
Sat, Nov 3 Vs LSU L 41-34 6-3 (4-2)
Sat, Nov 10 @ Miss. St L 17-12 6-4 (4-3)
Sat, Nov 17 Vs LA-Monroe L 21-14 6-5 (4-3)
Sat, Nov 24 @ Auburn L 17-10 6-6 (4-4)
PETROSUN INDEPENDENCE BOWL AT SHREVEPORT LA
Sun, Dec 30 @ Colorado W 30-24 7-6 (4-4)

2008
ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL
Fri, Jan 2 Vs #6 Utah* L 31-17 12-2 (8-0)

Muschamp went 7-6 his first year and then 11-2 his second...very similar records so far. The difference is that CWM didn't lose to a LA-Monroe at home like CNS did. Also, Saban won the SEC and then lost the game to Utah. Talk about a lack of motivation.

Too much fun alright. Especially at the 50 yard line starting 5 seconds after the game ended.
