Re: Sugar Bowl Hype Up
I'm hoping the GATORS will continue where they left off in Tally.
Execute and dominate the clock by moving the chains and finishing with a TD. Let the D do their thing and keep their offense off the field.
Fun team to watch this year. Need to continue to develop and execute. Muschamp will be on them for sure.

We need to graduate from underclass offensive "Juggernot" to
pHD offensive juggernaut.
We've got the makings to make it. Wait for it, wait for it.

Not seeing a lot of hype on this game and it was rarely mentioned in discussions of what bowl games were 'must see.'
Most talk is if the Gators cover the big spread against a vastly undermanned Cardinal team. This is an unusual situation with Charlie Strong on the other sideline. He knows our coaches, players, system and tendencies better than anyone who is not on our staff.

I could see UL keeping this game marginally close.
Looking at the Gator defense, most folks are of the opinion that Louisville will struggle to extend drives/not turn the ball over. I, however, believe Bridgewater will make a few throws here and there to help Louisville find the endzone once or twice.
The key to the game, for Florida, is to get the offense going early and not let this one become a fight in the second half (although Florida has performed well in that regard).
Points off turnovers, special teams play, etc. are great and all (especially providing momentum) but I think in order for UF to truly flex it's muscle on the scoreboard, the offense will need to be the kickstarter here.
I'm expecting the offense that we saw in Tallacrappy to carry over into this game but two redzone miscues lead to FGs.
Not lopsided but decisive.
UF 27
UL 10

Because the ACC just doesn't prepare you.

Seeing how a lot of teams have struggled with who I thought they would run through in the bowls I wouldn't be surprised to see this one get close.
Were the better team but we struggled with playing down to our opponents level. But I again I do think our defense is just to strong for them if we can run the ball well we will win...

The Gators limped into the FSU game. We had several pretty poor performances against marginal to bad teams. Fortunately we found alot of answers against the Noles and really dominated that game. If we end up winning this game late in the 4th I won't be shocked. Hope we put it away by half time and if the Gators play like they did against FSU they will. But this team has definitely played down to the level of competition several times.

I think there's a "reporter" problem = the cynicism dumped on these
BCS bad-matched games. It's like reporters feel "vulnerable" with
their necks stuck out if they go positive/optimistic over what the
viewing public is cynical-skeptical about as a foul product match-up.
Like a consensus saying FSU should not have played NIU ,and UF
should not play Louisville -- even a rematch UF versus FSU makes
sense. Actually too many dilute teams awarded bowl appearances.

I don't see Charlie as having any insight into our current coaches or players...... he was a Meyer guy and they are all gone.

Qb's will need to warm up with their timing so I would go with the rope a dope style, keep the passes short in the first half and wear them out with a running attack.
