Re: 90,000 Assistant Coaches In The Swamp On Saturdays
It's nice to see Will acknowledge our intelligence and realize that there are many of us capable of offering "great advice" about football, but at the end of the day he obviously has to block most of that advice out except from those he leans on or he'll never be able to implement his own plan and follow through on it.
What makes football such a fun game is the fact that there are so many different ways to be successful. I have zero doubts that a coaching staff comprised solely of people who post on the GSMB could come up with a successful gameplan to win football games, but being able to implement that plan and having players successfully execute that gameplan is why Will and his staff get paid to do what they do.

The hell with the Swamp. He needs to look no farther than the GSMB for the real experts.

"nofriends", it so happens that I pre-schemed each game: 11 games ...

You've got a stadium full of coaches at every school on game day. Nothing new, move along.

I am glad Coach Muschamp stays true to his convictions, doesn't waver, stays true to the course, plows the row to the end.

True in Gainesville, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, Athens, Auburn, Columbia X 2, Oxford, Starkville, Fayetteville, Lexington, College Station, Nashville, and Knoxville.

... plus BCSdom couldn't prevent their own becoming so sec-tarian.

90,000 in the Swamp every Sat. I hope so. This season's turnout was a little weak.

It's the handful of true experts on the GSMB that really mattered when they going got tough last season. This season was a cakewalk after Coach Boom followed our advice in the off-season.
