Bleacher Report: 32 Worst 1st Round Draft Busts

#1) Tebow not mentioned

#2) Several QBs were listed with their high $ bonuses & their terrible
QB-ratings, some covering 3-4 years. All far below Tim's ratings & stats.

#3) My concluding point is that I remember these players. I was an
attendant NFL media follower throughout their years, yet I recall
none of these fully recognized 'terribles' being media lambasted
during their efforts.

Lamarcus Russell, a QB we all know, over 3 years took $39 million
from Oakland/the NFL. And he hurt the team that paid him. Yet, his
entire career-pursuit time went without personal or professional
attacks from media or teammates, or fellow NFL players, coaches,
or waterboys.

I know it's a rehashing, but there is plenty of league/media in denial
that Tebow is being biasly maltreated... discouraged & dispirited as
no beginner in the past, ever.

Leinart and Young yes. Bush has had some success, too much to be a bust but agreed that he hasn't come close to the hype.

I read that report awhile back but before I ever clicked on the link these 3 names jumped out at me.

Jamarcus Russell / Heath Shuler / Tim Couch

The irony is they're all celebrated college quarterbacks from the SEC!
