Poor Aaron Murray
Looks like the boy wonder is having a tough time of it after losing another big game.

I'm glad Richt is taking his decision to not spike the ball and have two throws into the endzone for a possible touchdown so well.

As I read that article I'm still in disbelief at Richt's continual denial of the basics of clock management. There is something to be said for keeping the defense on their heels by quickly running a play, but his insistence that this decision gave them an 'extra' play is ludicrous.
There were 15 seconds on the clock when the whistle blew. They ran a play and had it been incomplete there would have been around 9 or ten seconds left. That is time for two more plays only, for a total of three plays.
Had they clocked it, the clock would have stopped with around 13 seconds left, which is CLEARLY time for 3 plays, knowing that you only need 1 second on the clock after the first two plays to run a third.
Plays that close to the goal line don't take that long unless the QB scrambles around. I would have clocked the ball and reminded everyone not to go down in bounds or the game is over and told Murray that if the play isn't there throw it away and run another play.
Opinions are like a holes and everyone has one, but I just can't for the life of me believe that what they tried to do there was the right thing. It was flat out dumb.

Not spiking the ball was a royal screw up, don't care how he spins it.
That was UGA's last, best chance. They will lose their D to the NFL and while Murray and their backs come back, they can't outscore people.
We will smoke them next year and it will be domination.

Murray is an even less-accomplished loser with half the talent than Peyton Manning was. What exactly has he accomplished at UGA?

He's the best midget QB to beat UF since Eli Manning?

Eli is 6'4", Murray is the only midget to beat UF. Solid resume builder...

He will end up breaking the SEC TD record barring injury, but he will leave with no championships, which will leave him somewhere between David Greene and Shockley! Very Zeier like.

I swear Eli looked shorter than that in college. Maybe it was the fact he didn't have to wear an oversized helmet?

Re: Poor Aaron Murrary
I feel sorry for Aaron Murray.
It must be really difficult to reconcile how close they came to winning a game that they should never have been playing in. If only life was fair, UGA would have scored and won the game.
He and his coach of course ignore the fact that if fairness played into this at all, UGA is watching UF play that game.
Aaron, embrace your status as a member in good standing of the losers club.
I am sure Richt will show you around and introduce you to all the former UGA QB's in the club.

Murray the number one pick..........
I swear I did not make this up..............................
According to 92.9 THE GAME in ATL.......they quoted Tony Dugy.....who stated that AM is the best qb in the country and should be the first QB pick THIS YEAR.........AND should be the FIRST PICK overall....will be a franchise QB.......
Better than Barkley, WV qb...........this is not a joke........
I hope he comes back and ends up with 3-4 loses next year.....AM is a loser....and a leg humper............
