Gatorhoops blog suggesting Coach Pease may go after the SJS job?

After UT circle-jerk and Tubby to UC nothing would surprise me. However one would think Pease could get a much better job as HC next year with UF in nat'l championship play and continued development by Driskel.

My thinking is that if Pease leaves now, that behind the scenes, he wasn't getting along with Muschamp and their philosophies of running an offense differed too much.

However, at this point, we don't know if he is leaving.

Having the 104th ranked offense probably doesn't warrant too many job offers.

I can let Joker coach up the receivers but I don't think I really want him being the OC. We could do much better. Nothing against Joker I just think for Florida we could go after someone special.

I don't think that Peace is leaving yet. Hopefully with help on the OL Champ will let him open it up a little more with throwing downfield. Cause right now it's just not safe for any QB.

This bs was started by an SI writter(I think), and his only reasoning was that the AD used to work for Boise. Seems legit.

McIntyre was making $430,000 at SJSU. Pease is making $490,000++ at UF.

SJSU AD took a $2.2 million loss last year. It seems like it would be hard for them to come up with the financial incentives to make it worth it for him.

I live in the sf bay area and none of the sports radio or newspapers are mentioning Pease.Most of the speculation is about Dan Hawkins,Jeff Tedford,Ty Willingham and stanfords oc(cant remember his name).The talk is that they're going after an established coach
