I admire Fulmer, who was an excellent coach and player for UT. His teams would have fit right in with the SEC of today. Those were great days in the conference with so many former players coaching their alma maters. It added a lot to the theater surrounding the games.

I agree. As much as I hate UT, Fulmer was always fun to see on the opposing sideline! Besides, who doesn't love Krispy Kreme?

Ok, it's not really an inside source. But I know how this works. Tinerc will offer about 30 people, all of whom laugh, then they hire some guy who was 4-7 in the Sun Belt.

So I looked at the standings and I find that the team that is 4-8 in the Sunbelt is North Texas. Their HC? Still our own Dan McCarney!!!!

Actually, that would be a far better hire than Lil Dooley. Go getum Voles!!!!

Call it a smokescreen or whatever you want to call it! I believe Tennessee is already at the beginning of the 2nd String. When we exhaust all of the 2nd String, then we will be into the "whoever" category. After the "whoever"category, then we ask if anybody already on the staff at UT wants to be HFC.

Oh man everyone up here will be in a meltdown when this happens! I absolutely love it. Their biggest mistake is going after a coach (Gruden) that they realistically could not get. Then the "No's" start dropping.
