National Coach of the Year
Lots of good ones out there. Any opinions on Muschamp vs. Meyer?
I'll put my keyboard down and move to a different hemisphere while you disgust.

Did you intend to use the word "disgust" or was that a Freudian slip?

The link to the list didn't work for me, but Muschamp changing a 6-6 team to 11-1 with the toughest schedule in the country makes him deserving of the award. Also, I think Penn St.'s coach (is it O'Brian?) would be deserving considering all of the adversity he and his team have had to face. Sumlin did a great job this year too. I'm not going to bother commenting on Meyer.

Champ did the turnaround of 7-6 to 11-1 (12-1) & vs tough SOS.
Sumlin first year at A&M, first year SEC ! upped their record from
7-6 to 10-2 and beat mighty Alabama. If Sumlin gets it, I think his
beating Bama puts him over the top. (He beat the National Champs)

This. Trying to look at things impartial, the AL win puts him over the top. They should have been a .500 team this year.

I agree, you have to have no brain to vote O'Brien.

Not voting... Wouldn't allow me to vote for Champ.Whoever came up with that list of finalists much not have watched the season. They used the Jumbo theory of eye test and disregarding the facts.
Richt was able to take a preseason #5 team most picked to win the SEC East because of their easy schedule and coach them to an SEC East co-title and a #8 finish.
Sweeney was able to take a pre-season #8 team and coach them to a #14 finish with only two real games on his schedule.
Charlie... Come on, National Coach of the Year for finishing in a 3-way tie for the Big Least?

Seriously of all the candidates out there they include coaches who were predicted to do well and didn't and a coach predicted to do well and did. No Will Muschamp, what an invalid contest.
