SHOULD be? There SHOULD be an SEC team in every one of the BCS bowls if this was about putting the best teams in the best bowls. We have six of the top ten in the BCS final poll, right? I say that gives us enough teams to fill every bowl. And we win all of them as well. How would that be for SEC dominance! This system is rigged to keep that from happening. Bring on the eight team playoff. Sooner the better!

The more I think about it the more it looks like they fixed the system for the little guy with this scenario:
"If one AQ team sucks and we're going to have one lousy game, let's automatically force another sucky team in so we can ruin two BCS match-ups."

If the Big Least is lousy this year and an non-AQ team is ranked higher, top 16, won their conference, dah-tee-dah... then that team should REPLACE the weak AQ team, not BE ADDED to the mix. Louisville would be out of BCS to make room for N. Ill. and we would still be playing Oklahoma.

No way in hell. Not for BCS games. The problem is that non-AQ teams should only be able to get in unless they are TOP 5 or greater. All conference champions and then any at large in the BCS Top 10 should be in BCS games. Non-AQ only applies if Top 5.

The ONLy FAIR and SCIENTIFIC SYSTEM IS A PLAYOFF!!!! Otherwise, we just are guessing at who the real champ is. Notre Lame would be 7th in the SEC, joke to reward them with a title shot just because they went undefeated with a weak schedule and bad call in their favor against Stanford. BCS=BS
