Me, don't need no stinking room, live three hours east and have relatives close to the Dome. Can't wait to get a Mothers sloppy roast beef sandwich, Willie Maes Scotch Houses fried chicken the best in the south. Then Cafe Dumond Beignets, hell might catch me a game while I'm there. Kidding about the game I will be going for sure.

Does anyone know whether the GATORS tickets will be on the home side or the visitors side?

Got a room at the Hyatt Place about two blocks down from Harrah's, across the street from the Riverwalk Marketplace. Coming in on the 31st, leaving the day after the game. Now, for some tickets...

a word of warning. if you plan on walking down bourbon street after the game put your wallet in your front pocket. don't get caught in the crowd because there are still thugs there from hurricane katrina. cops look the otherway. if you have to drop a deuce wear Depends as they won't let you use the restrooms in the police station. a very filthy place. i would not go back if you gave me a ticket and a free hotel room!!!

I am! I bought the tickets after Alabama lost to Texas A&M for my husband's (Bama fan) birthday. I wrapped a bowl of sugar cubes and the receipt from the tickets and gave it to him on Friday November 16th... So for 1 day I gave the best present ever.... then when the Oregon and K State losses happened... I thought I was going to have to ebay them...Until I figured out that if we beat FSU we were in!!!
So happy early birthday to me!

Ugh, come on man. New Orleans is the muter capital of the USA always has been always will be. There is less of it at the moment then there was before the hurricane. The thugs have always been there. Don't trust the meter parking they will ticket you with time left on the meter (happened twice to me) use the all day parking lots.
