Purifoy on offense in the future
Muschamp said so.
For it or against it?

Full-time defense, Part-time offense?

Here and there if he gives a deep threat, yes.

Yes. Per Muschamp, Purifoy will be full time CB and part time WR. If Purifoy has potential as a CB in the NFL, then I think he should stay there. I am sure we will find another WR elsewhere.

Except next year we will have 48 DBs and 6 receivers, and one of those is Stephen Alli.

Re: Purifoy on offense in the future
He was lined up as a running back the first play against FSU and ran a wheel route up the right sideline. Driskel threw it to Dunbar on the quick out, but I wonder if they were trying to set up Purifoy for a one-on-one matchup with a linebacker? It's obvious Pease wanted a deep shot early, as they tried to hit Frankie on the next play.

Give him a shot with the ball 6-8 times a game. He's a great threat.
Rocky top you'll always be...LAST in the SEC.....Good ole' Rocky Not.....Gators scored a big T.D.

This. Roberson doesn't get the love even though he's our best cover corner and Watkins would start on almost every team in the country. Also, there's a good chance 1 of the young guys (Poole or VH3) is hard to keep off the field. Hopefully Pittman progresses, but that still leaves us with him and Dunbar at wr and neither of them scare anyone. If Purifoy is that good, put him in for some heavy formations (run/play action) on 1st and maybe 2nd down for 10-15 snaps a game.

Re: Purifoy on offense in the future
I've been posting about this for awhile. The plan is to keep him at CB. BUT, I can see him playing every third down or 10 to 15 plays on offense. If we have some depth at CB and no rash of injuries there, I could see him playing that much. But he is on just about every special team we have except Field Goal and Extra points(offense).
Driskel needs some targets ASAP!!!I believe how much he plays on offense is going to be a tough decision for Coach Boom.
I guess he plays OK for a 3 star

If it can help us why not. It's not like we had gangbusters as wr this year.
