Is there any circumstance
Where Florida doesn't play Rutgers, Kent State, or Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl?
I'd give anything to play the Ducks in NOLA

We could play Louisville!
If Oklahoma wins and Kansas State loses, then Oklahoma would get the bid to the Fiesta Bowl and we could be facing Kansas State.

I think if OU wins the Big 12 they are going to ask to trade to the Sugar Bowl since they have played in the Fiesta a lot, so it is unlikely we will play Kansas State

Personally, I'd love it. My nephew is at K State. After 18 years of yappin' UF & Gators in his ears, he'd finally figure out why. *sigh*
Also, years ago when we were stationed at Ft. Riley, I lived right across the street from the KState stadium.....fond memories of the big purple cat cups.

I'd love a crack at Oregon. We rarely get to humiliate the PAC-10. It would be an entertaining game with the contrast between defense and offense oriented teams.
The worse match-ups would be against Big Least, Atlantic Cupcakes or Less 10.

Re: Is there any circumstance
The order of selection is Fiesta, Sugar, and then Orange. Fiesta is committed to the Big XII champion, if they're not playing for the NC. So either Okie (6.5 favorite over TCU) or K-State (11.5 favorite over Texas) is heading there. If they both win, K-State holds the tie-breaker over Stoops and company, so they go to Phoenix. Sugar goes next for their first pick, and since either Bama or UGA is going to the NC game (with the loser relegated to Orlando), they will pick us. Orange goes next, and they are obligated to the ACC winner, FSU, which despite being "just" a 14 pt favorite over GT, will probably slaughter the Jackets.
Then we go round again. It's Fiesta's turn. Here's where they will take Oregon, even if UCLA beats Stanford to go to the Rose Bowl (forcing Stanford to the Holiday Bowl or maybe somewhere else). In all likelihood, it's UCLA that will be sent packing somewhere else. Next up is the Sugar. Unless K-State is available because Okie won the Big XII, it's gonna be Okie . . . OR . . . what if the miracle other K-State, Kent State, gets into the top 16? Then . . . Sugar will take Big Least champ b/c that's a better team than Kent State, and the Clowns will have to face Kent State in Miami. If Kent State doesn't crack the Top 16 of the BCS (pull for Northern Illinois in the MAC title game, so they won't), then FSU will face the Big Least champ and we get either Okie or Kansas St.

Dream match-up: Oregon!
I know it won't happen, but anyone besides OU! Tired of repeat bowl games!

I bet FSU gets stuck with Kent State in the Orange. There will be fewer fans there than for a scUM game.

I know they are a solid team, but it's hard to get excited about anything from Kansas.

KSU beats Texas...likely
TCU beats OU....they are at home off a road win at Texas, 50/50.
National Guard Killers lose to NIU, could happen, NIU is better IMO.
Then who in the hell do we play you ask? Clemson, who Spurrier made his ***** again Saturday.

Regardless, UF seems to play up, or down to its' level of competition.
UP: LSU, USC, FSU, TA&M (on road), UGA (if not for the TO's)
DOWN: BGSU, Mizzou, La, Jack State
Following form it'll make for a close game.

Could be - the only other ACC team in the BCS will be the
s, so Clemson could play us. I bet that in the end, we play Okie anyway. Some don't want a "repeat" meeting with the Sooners, but how much of a repeat is that? It's not like we played them in a bowl game last year, or even the year before that."A life is not important - except in the impact it has on other lives" . . . Jackie Robinson

OU is the best option, but awfully crappy for the year we have had.

You know the National Guardsmen shot Kent State students, right?
