Sugar, sugar and then sugar. We are not going to any other BCS bowl. Fiesta won't take us, Orange has ACC and Big East. And obviously Rose is Pac 12 and Big whatever.

Bigger question is what scrub team do we get to play if TCU beats Oklahoma in Fort Worth Saturday?

I don't know the pecking order this year. Doesn't the Fiesta Bowl get the B12 champ? So if they are projecting U of O in the Sugar then it's as an at large.

There's practically no way we don't get the Sugar bid.

Fiesta gets first choice of at large, then Sugar. Fiesta has Big 12 champ KSU, and logically would take Oregon. That leaves the Sugar taking OU if they win Saturday, or scrambling to take anyone worth a crap if not.

Brady Ackerman posted on twitter, Florida will probably be playing Oklahoma or Clemson.

One thing to watch out for is Kent State finishing in the top 16 and getting an automatic bcs bid. The sugar would then have to choose between Kent State and Louisville/Rutgers. Kent State will be #18 when the rankings come out tonight. #16 Texas and #17 UCLA will be underdogs next weekend.

The only way Kent State would keep it close against us is if they brought their 1970's era National Guardsmen with them.

I believed the Sugar bowl was traditionally SEC-BigEasy aligned. However, wiki says I'm wrong:
Prior to the BCS, the game traditionally hosted the Southeastern Conference (SEC) champion against a top-tier at-large opponent. This was formalized in 1975, when the SEC champion was granted an automatic bid to the Sugar Bowl starting with the end of the 1976 season. This continued throughout the time of the Bowl Coalition, a precursor to the BCS. However, the Sugar Bowl agreed to release the SEC champion if necessary to force a national championship game. When the Bowl Coalition became the Bowl Alliance after the 1995 season, the link with the SEC was briefly broken, as was the case with all conference tie-ins with bowl games (except the Rose Bowl).
Under the current BCS format, the Sugar Bowl continues to host the SEC champion against a top-tier at-large opponent, unless the SEC champion goes to the BCS National Championship Game.[13] When this happens, the Sugar Bowl usually selects the highest-ranked SEC team still available in the BCS pool. The SEC champion has been to the BCS title game since the end of the 2006 season.
Looks like it takes an 'at-large' and that year it chose Cincy, probably based on their stellar year and hopes that they would travel well - give one of those wished for matchups where an SEC team plays OOC to test the SEC's dominance vs hype. Plus, Cincy was a top 5 team at the close of that season, 12-0 and had earned a chance to get kicked in the nuts by an SEC team. We were #5 at 12-1 with our lone loss being to AL in the SECCG, so we were a lock for the Sugar Bowl, plenty angry, and more than willing to kick them in the nuts.

If Kent State and Stanford win their Conference championships this Friday, we may end up with them. Kent State will move up one spot due to UCLA moving down. The Orange would take the ACC / Big East winners.

It should be the Sugar, Saban crying about the loser of the SEC game should go. That's BS because we will still be 11-1 and either UG or UA will be 11-2.
