He's gotta be on the hot seat after this season.

Believe it or not he isn't. It has everything to do with this:

Yes, that's five 5 star recruits in a single class. With the scholarship restrictions, USC can't take a chance on losing some or all of these blue chippers. They'll let him pull in a couple more unprecedentedly good classes and if they still aren't winning they will bring in someone else who can actually coach the group up. Kind of like the Zook to Meyer's years only on more steroids.

California 5 stars= 3 stars.

He won 7 games this year. He'll be lucky to win 6 the next few years. His roster will be very small in two years.

Kiffen's play calling on that 1st and goal last night was pathetic.

That's him in a nutshell. If SC sticks it in there, they may win the game. Instead, game over. La-Hoo-Sa-Her.

Kenny Bigelow 5* DT form MD
Max Browne 5* QB fro WA
Ty Issac 5* RB from IL
Jalen Ramsey 5* DB from TN

I agree he won't win the big game because he is as big of a game time idiot as Miles without the luck, but your star theory doesn't hold water.

Good point. The other thing that is strange about USC's next class is there are zero 3 stars or below. To me that says something about Lame's ego which is his downfall.

Don't be shocked when that 5 star from TN commits to the Gators.

No, he is not. Ronnie Lott and Marcus Allen (both very plugged in at USC through the booster organization) have both been on 247 sports this past week admitting that it is going to get worse at USC before it gets better. After this year they will really start feeling the impact of the scholarship reductions. They want to let Lane keep coaching through the rough times, then bring in a whole new staff once they are through with all of the reductions.
