Question about The Ships Bell
It's been in the endzone since the stadium was built and it is no longer there. Anybody know what happened to it?

Re: Question about The Ships Bell
It's stored someplace. I saw an article on it at one time. My search skills are not as good as others.

Re: Question about The Ships Bell
Per wikipedia
"The ship's bell is displayed in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at the University of Florida. For many years, the bell was mounted at the north end zone wall of the stadium. After the north end zone expansion in 1991, the bell was moved to the north end zone concourse for display, but its clapper was removed."
I find no other references about it on the web.
